Free School Meals
All children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to Universal Infant Free School Meals.
Parents/Carers can order online in advance or your child can order their meal after their morning registration.
At Girnhill Infant School our school dinners are cooked fresh on-site by Dolce/School Grid.
If you do pre-order and your child is absent from school please remember to log into your account and delete the order.
If you think you may be eligible for Free School Meals through benefits please see the link below. Even if your child already gets Universal Infant Free School Meals you still need to apply. Your child may receive FREE milk on receipt of this entitlement.

At Girnhill Infant School children under the age of 5 (up to the Friday before they turn 5) are entitled to a free carton of milk each school day.
Milk is also free to those children receiving Income Related Free School Meals (not Universal Free School Meals). If you are in receipt of benefits which qualify your child for free school meals please speak to the school office as milk may be free for your child.
As part of the School Milk Scheme, all children are offered the choice of purchasing milk in school. For more information about school milk, including how to register and pay online please click on the link below.
